Ariel McDowell is the founder and managing attorney of McDowell Legal Counsel. She helps individuals, families, and small business owners plan ahead through estate planning and legacy-focused legal strategies.
Ariel has more than 15 years of legal experience. Before starting her own firm, she worked in tax and transactional advisory roles at a Big Four accounting firm and a Fortune 10 company, advising businesses of all sizes, from small startups to Fortune 500 companies.
She brings a practical, clear-eyed approach to planning, one that focuses on preparedness and gives clients the confidence to make informed decisions for their future.
Ariel is licensed to practice law in Georgia. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business, a Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University School of Law, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from Boston University School of Law.
